My interview was completely technical with a single HR question on my sir name and it was not an important one.
1)I was asked about my training done in first yr summer. Asked about the methods applied in the SCCL mines( my 1st yr training). Then I was asked about Highwall mining being applied there.
2)Types of ventilating ducts.
3)Types of auxiliary ventilation.
4)Percentages of Methane in mine air(intake and exhaust)
5)Coward diagram.

Speak positive and be positive during the interview.
Dont negate the interviewer.
If you dont know the answer say that you will try to know it.
CIL has taken mostly toppers from other branches(mech, envi, electrical, elex etc.)

Three stages:

Around 43 out of 48 appeared for extempore.
3 were rejected in the second round
After final interview, 26 were selected.
