Pattern of Written Test

TECHNICAL:- Questions were asked mostly from Strength of materials,soil mechanics,design of concrete
structures,design of steel structures.Questions were generally knowledge but in some of the cases calculation based
questions were also there.e APTITUDE TEST:- questions were quite easy.Questions on ages, distance and time should be
prepared.

Technical Interview

Technical Questions asked:- 1) What is the minimum stripping value for a vertical member? 2)Give the dimensions of
slump cone test apparatus. 3)Diagrams were given for which BMD and SFD were asked to draw. 4)what do you mean by
mean sea level? 5)what are the tests for workability?

HR Interview

HR questions:- 1)tell about yourself 2)what is your father doing? 3)Why do you want to join Gammon? 4)would you like o
go for higher studies? 5)some questions from Biodata were also asked.

Suggestion

Juniors should have thorough knowledge of the above mentioned subjects apart from other subjects like building materials
and construction.They should not become nervous during the interview.They should have some practice for aptitude
test.They should be able to impress upon them that they are really interested in the company with full dedication and they
are ready to work anywhere in the world.

At first i was really nervous.But the person who gave the presentation was really frank and free.He gave all the details
about the company its working and how we have to work with the Gammon family.The person who gave the presentation
and took our HR interview was actually a Major.Because of his frank nature my all nervousness went away and i was able
to deliver my best in front of him which led to my selection.
