The first interviewer wanted to ask me questions about Highway engineering, but i told him straight away that i was not that interested in my core area. Therefore this interview also turned out to be a HR interview. He hardly asked me one or two questions after which he asked me if i have any questions to ask. as they were selecting people from 108 applicants i realized that i cant let the interview to stop at that point of time, so i started asking him questions about the company, the kind of work, the facilities provided, mentor-ship programs,etc. this round lasted for 20 mins. i basically showed a lot of interest towards the company. i guess that is what did the trick.

in the second interview they asked me about what i understood about the company and the work profile,
your aim in life
where u see ur self 3 yrs from now
are u ok with the long working hrs

speak with confidence think before hand what u are going to say to them for a few of the standard questions ..
