questions mainly from soil mechanics,highway engineering,structures,IS Codes.
Verbal questions consisted of synonyms,antonyms,sentence completions,articles,prepositions.

Name of the Topic / Task : corruption pays a price for democracy
Time Given : 20 Minutes

14 were shortlisted for the gd.
7 students in each group were called.
3 topics were given out of which we had to chose one.

the other 2 topics were "students into politics" and "smart work or hard work?".

Only 1 question was asked related to my training.

"how do you measure the strength of steel?when a piece of steel is given,how can you confirm it is Fe 415,Fe500?"

Many of the regular questions which are found in any website were asked.
Questions for which they expected answers were-
-Why did you chose shapoorji?
-why should we prefer you?
-why is your CGPA low?

Be what you are.
Dont boast too much about urself.
They are in search of confident people.It is okay if you are not that good in technical area.
CGPA hardly matters,students in the range of 6.5-7.9 were selected.
Just find a valid reason for your low CGPA and yOu will be comfortable in the personal interview.

I performed well in the GD and showed signs of comfortness in the personal interview.
I spoke few things for which i repented later.I admitted i had poor technical knowledge but assured i would show improvement.May be they liked the frankness in me.
