TCS shortlisted top 25 for direct interview and I was among 1 of them...so i had not given TCS written test..

Interview was totally based on projects..he asked me each and every project in detail..basically he asked me more<br />
details of projects i am working on in Internship of Innovation Labs,TCS...i explained every project I did in my<br />
internhip, academics and work experience..basically he got impressed by my projects..and even he told me..you<br />
did so many thing more than i expect..so do well your all projects..as it really adds value to your resume..and be<br />
through with all technical details ...

In this interview, 2 persons were taking interview I think managerial round and HR round were taken together...1 of<br />
this HR was from Innovation Labs, hyb where I am doing internship and i was knowing him..but still he had taken<br />
this as stress interview..it was totally arguments style..as why u left satyam..and hv really worked for 1 year..and<br />
why u left it...r u flexible enough to go anywhere...in which company you will like to spend full life..i told tcs if i get<br />
R&D...then he asked u r hoping for R&D and if u don't get it in TCS and u get in other company what u will do n all<br />
stuff..then i told i have confidence that i will get R&D in TCS as i am working from last 7 months...<br />
other questions were wht are ur strength and weakness..n in that were both interviewer were arguing..and wht are<br />
achievements..wht is ur pick point in academics..wht appreciation u get in satyam..and as well in TCS..wht is best<br />
thing u ever done..and many based on my answers...so be precise while giving answers...as these people are ready<br />
to catch your words...

Do your projects very well and be clear with all your basic concepts..and if your are getting job opportunity in good<br />
company then only u go for internship in that company..as its really problematic to come for companies every<br />
time...some times you will get good exposure to industrial work..but getting job in good company with good profile<br />
with your interest..is very much important and before going to internship take clear idea of your project on which u<br />
will be working for internship...and then decide to go or not<br />
so do well...i know you all are smarter than me...so wish u all the best for your future..

for interview top 25 from different branches were shortlisted..and others were shortlisted from written test..total for<br />
interview was 93..and after that some students had 3 round of interview or some with just 2 rounds with 2nd round<br />
with 2 interviewers...<br />
Over all experience was good..and i was feeling comfortable as I was in TCS from last 7 months...but after HR<br />
interview I was nervous..as i was thinking may be they will not take me...as I clearly told I want only R&D...so i<br />
was worried..but finally my name was in TCS selected candidates..
