Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
The first section had 25 questions out of which first 10:a sentence will be given and there will be 4 underlined parts
in that sentence.You need to find which underlined part has an error.next 5: DIP:GUSH:: what??
EQUATION:MATHEMATICS::what??5 options were given for each of the questions......next 10 were from READING
COMPREHENSION...it was very easy but the answer to the questions were the meanings of the words......like
BLITHE,DESPONDENTLY...and so on....
2nd section was quantitative aptitude and it was very easy 25 questions were given...out of which 20 can be easily
done....
3rd section was C it was little difficult....
overall 65 questions in 75 min...the time would be definetly sufficient...i scored 32/62..as 3 questions were
repeated and i think 40 is a good mark
Out of around 100 ppl...they shortlisted 50...and they thought GD was not necessary for 50 ppl as their
requirement was more....

The panel had 2 members
1.Introduce yourself very quickly.
2.Most important question in my panel was about the FINAL YEAR PROJECT.You should be very clear about ur final
year project and explain them giving the overview of the project and what u have done till now..
3.He asked me to rate myself in PROGRAMMING..i rated 3.5/5....they asked me which is the data structure u like...i
said LINKED LIST...then they started asking what is the difference between linked list and array?
4.Advantage of linked list over array and Advantage of array over linked list.
5.What are your favorite subjects in ELECTRONICS?I said COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS and
MICROPROCESSORS...luckily they din't ask much about those...
6.Tell me how cell phones are connected
7.A person is in A.P. He's calling a fried in RAJASTHAN...how do u find the shortest distance through the network
he's calling between them?
8.Do u have any knowledge on DATABASE...i answered frankly saying i don't have much idea.
9.Find the 3rd largest no. in a big list of numbers....
10.Where do u want to see 5 years from now?
11.Do u have any job offer in HAND?
12.Can you create a header file with ur programming skills??wat is the use of a header file?
this is the tech. interview...it went on for almost 25-30 min....and they were happy speaking to me...

I think almost whoever was called to HR was selected...

3.Being an ELECTRONICS engineer why BOA?
4.Why software?What are the plans after 2 years...
5.About family....
6.Willing to relocate??
7.Night shifts??
Very easy...HR was explaining about the salary package....and i knew that i was selected as i was given a form to fill
by them...

Be cool at any point of the placements...don't think of the future too much.....try going out of the interview without
telling the questions to ur friends who are waiting outside.....msg them but don't tell them in front of the PANEL....
HAVE ALL YOUR CERTIFICATES ready when ur sitting for placements...all GRADE SHEETS,Xth,XIIth,Icard,
PHOTO...because any company may ask any of these things at any time...
Be perfect with C,C++ and DS concepts and study 1 or 2 core subjects perfectly as software companies will
definetly ask core quesitons also...

Got selected on a PALINDROME DATE...........01/02/2010......Overall it was really very good for me and i'm really
happy to get into a big organisation like BANK OF AMERICA CONTINUUM SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD....I think clearing
the written test was easy for me and ppl thought the technical would be easy but it was upto the level...and if u
clear the tech. interview ur almost thru....
